Don’t Leave a Scene Hanging

I have to admit that I don’t see much of this, but recently I found a book where the author tended to leave a scene hanging. I don’t mean like a cliffhanger. Those are completely acceptable. I’m talking about no closure at all. The scene ends, and you never know what happened. That’s not good.
