We are a fickle species. What we celebrate one day can be deemed evil the next. The Pandemic of 2020 has highlighted that in how we view those on the front lines. It has actually become shameful on how our heroes became villains.

Heroes of the Pandemic

Who were the heroes of the pandemic that began in 2020 and has lasted now well over a year? Medical workers. Emergency personnel. Supply chain workers who kept products on the shelves. These people went to work when others did not. They risked their lives to make sure we had medical attention or toilet paper.

Signs appeared all over the world in support of these heroes. We cheered them on. We mourned when COVID-19 overcame them. They were heroes in every sense of the word.

Then 2021 came.

How Heroes Become Villains

In 2021, all those heroes came under scrutiny. The majority lost their jobs. Why? Because they volunteered to continue on the front lines without the vaccine. They worked through the initial dark days of the pandemic without it and were celebrated. Now they prefer to continue working without the vaccine and are suffering for it.

How is this possible? The fickle minds of humans. The agenda of society changed. Now the vaccine controls society…
