Note: This book was purchased with my own money with no expectation of a positive review.

Strange man appears. Sexy. Intense. He can’t be anything but…a vampire. The stranger is someone Rowan could fall in love with. But then he disappears and holds too many secrets to his so gorgeous chest. The truth is revealed. Can Rowan accept it? Can she accept herself?

I have to admit that at first I found this to be like so many other vampire books. The vampire is sexy beyond belief. He is intent on the one he wants to claim. He has secrets. He is dangerous. Yes, the story starts off like so many others, but there is a hint even during all the “sameness” that there is something different, just waiting to come out.

Then it does and the story suddenly becomes something so much more. I can’t say much more than that or I will spoil all the reading fun. It is good enough to have me immediately reading the next book to get to know more about it and discover more of the secrets.

If you like vampire stories, this is one you have to check out as it has surprise twists and turns that will have you wondering what will happen next.
