Oh, the temptations in life. They are everywhere: home, church, work, when we shop, when we are entertained. Satan strategically places them where we will see them, even if it is sub-consciously.

James continues in 1:13–15:

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil
